The Kosciuszko Foundation celebrated its 72nd Annual Benefit Dinner and Ball on Saturday, April 28, 2007, at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York. Dr. Andrew Boral and his wife, Janina, of Rutherford, NJ, were Chairs of the evening. Diplomats, artists, and other dignitaries were invited to this premier social event of the Polish American community, and filled the hotel’s Grand Ballroom for a gala night of dancing and dining.

 

The 2007 Ball  honored the works of noted Polish artist W. T. Benda, and members of his family attended.

Mme. Wanda Tomczykowska, President Emerita of The Polish Arts and Culture Foundation in San Francisco  received the KF Medal of Recognition for her 50-year dedication in promoting Polish Heritage in the US. Her daughter, Caria Tomczykowska, current President, was one of the Guests of Honor, receiving the medal on her mother's behalf. Several members of the PACF's Board of Trustees also attended.
