Joanna Bruzdowicz's newest work, Fanfare for Celebration of Women in Music will have its world premiere in Los Angeles this month. The premiere will be played by the "Borealis Brass Ensemble" from Alaska during the Gala Concert of the International World Forum for Music (UNESCO) on October 3rd, 8:30 pm in the Ricardo Montalban Theatre. The forum will take place between the 1st and the 5th of October and is organized with a help of "Donne in Musica" Foundation (Patricia Adkins-Chiti, President). Joanna Bruzdowicz gave the 2003 Paderewski Lecture at USC, and she is pictured at the right during her visit.
