CENTER FOR EXCELLENCE | Print |

There is a bigger issue with the  CA Center for Excellence,
it does not list Poland in general as a country where mass
genocide was experienced by the population. Please see this
page at the official portal under section, Material on Specific
Genocides:

This conflicts with what is recommended by the State of California in
Model Curriculum in the section on teaching about:

- Mass Murder and Genocide of Poles During World War II

http://www.csuchico.edu/mjs/center/model_curriculum/model_curriculum_HRG.pdf

The Model Curriculum also list a basic list of resources for teaching
about Poland's experience and this includes both, Northern and Southern
Division of the Polish American Congress as the organizations providing
resources for teaching.

Because of this already preexisting recognition, we will be more
effective in dealings with CA Center for Excellence via joint Polish
American Congress Committee on Holocaust, Genocide, Human Rights and
Tolerance under leadership of Dr. Marek Zelazkiewicz, having membership
from the CA North and South initially like: Mr. Gordon Black, Mr.
Witold Kiezun, Mrs. Irena Szewiola with ex officio members: Antoni
Zukowski and Richard Wiederenski, PAC Divisions Presidents.

The top priority for this commission right now would be drafting of a
principal letter to  Prof. Edelman and Task Force members requesting
Poland's experience inclusion in teaching and asserting our rights to
provide and define list of resources for teaching. Please consider
inclusion of the following Internet portals in the resource list:

Anthony Zukowski
