In 2004, Actual Films of San Francisco began filming footage for the two-hour long documentary on the stolen art treasures during Wolrd War II by the Nazis. Based on the book by Lynn Nicholas, the film takes the viewer on a tour of Europe, raped of its treasures which were confiscated to mines deep below the surface, high up the mountains in fairy-tale type castles and elsewhere.
